Tuition
The department of Physiology of human and animals provides training of Masters of Biology (091). Educational Program 'Human and animals physiology'.
Graduates of the department work in research and medical institutions in Ukraine and many other countries.
The most talented graduates continue their education in the post-graduate school. Bases for practice and diplom works are Institute for cryobiology and cryomedicine NAS of Ukraine and other scientific research institutions of Kharkov .

Research
The field of the scientific research of the department includes the physiology of aging and gerontology, cell physiology, immunophysiology, psychophysiology, development of new educational technologies in the field of physiology. Since 1990, considerable attention is paid to investigations of the mechanisms of cell sensitivity to external factors, including those in ontogenesis. At the same time, mechanisms of cell sensitivity to temperature and osmotic effects are investigated as very important for working out the new methods in low-temperature preservation of biological objects.
The department provides full and part-time postgraduate studies. During last 5 years, 18 PhD defended thesis (including 5 foreign citizens). |
History
For more than 85 years, the department is producing a significant number of specialists working in research and medical institutions in Ukraine and many other countries: Germany, Sweden, USA, Hungary. |
